Yottalook New Version Coming Soon!
A new version of Yottalook will be launching soon! We have been working on this new version extensively in the recent months. The new version will have several new features, including improved Web engine with simpler and cleaner filters, increased and updated Images index with more filtering options, increased speed of search for the Images engine, overall improved user interface, incorporation of Reader, etc. We are currently conducting internal beta testing and as soon as that process is completed, we plan to replace the current version with this new version. More updates to follow.

Implementation of myBookmarks from myRSNA on Yottalook Images

myBookmarks is a feature of the myRSNA portal which is free for all RSNA members. Yottalook has implemented the myBookmarks feature to allow our users to save search results performed in Yottalook Images into their myRSNA account.
With myBookmarks, the user can bookmark both articles and images for later access and organize these within myRSNA, rather than sort through unrelated bookmarks on their Internet browser. Read more about it at: http://www.rsna.org/Publications/rsnanews/May-2008/myRSNA_feature.cfm and http://www.rsna.org/Publications/rsnanews/February-2009/0209_rsnaorg.cfm.
This feature has been initially tested on Yottalook Reader successfully. As a result, we have implemented this on our Yottalook Images. Implementation for Yottalook Journals will come shortly.
Please provide us with feedback on this new feature.

Use myBookmarks with Yottalook Reader

myBookmarks is a feature of the myRSNA portal which is free for all RSNA members. Yottalook has implemented the myBookmarks feature to allow our users to save searches and results performed in Yottalook into their myRSNA account.
With myBookmarks, the user can bookmark articles and pages for later access and organize those pages within My RSNA, rather than sort through unrelated bookmarks on their Internet browser. Read more about it at: http://www.rsna.org/Publications/rsnanews/May-2008/myRSNA_feature.cfm and http://www.rsna.org/Publications/rsnanews/February-2009/0209_rsnaorg.cfm.
Once this feature is tested on Yottalook Reader, our current plan is to allow users to bookmark in similar fashions individual results from Yottalook Images and Journals.
Please provide us with feedback on this new feature.

Yottalook Launches Yottalook Reader

This weekend we launched a beta version of new online service called Yottalook Reader. You can access this at "reader.yottalook.com" or by clicking on a small banner on the main page:
Now, you can keep up to date on your favorite radiology sites easily with Yottalook Reader. Yottalook Reader gathers the latest online cases, news, blogs and journal articles. It also gathers additional latest radiology-related information online, such as meetings, conferences, jobs, grants, podcasts, videos, and clinical trials. They are sorted in easy to navigate folders.

When you click on a folder, you can see individual sites and filter your content even further.
When you select "Latest Cases", you will see additional viewing options on top.

When you click on the "Start Image Gallery" option, the latest images from online cases will be presented to you in a format similar to Cover Flow seen in iTunes.

When you click on the "Start Slide Show" option, the latest images will be presented to you in "3D Wall" format using Cooliris (similar to option you currently see with our Yottalook Images engine).

You can also search the latest cases, news and blog entries using our search box. This search box will not search for other content, such as journal articles, jobs, meetings and clinical trials. We are working to provide additional search capability in the near future. Of note, the journal articles are best searched using our Yottalook Journals search engine.

If you would like to see other radiology-related sites included in the Yottalook Reader, please contact us. We hope you will find this useful.
